Default Calling Preflop raises from sb in B&M 15/30

Just moved up in limits from 10-20 to 15-30 and am a little fuzzy about playing in the small blind. Game is loose (5-6 seeing flop) and not too aggressive. Tell me how I handled these two small blind situations.

1. I have KJ off. 5 limpers including me. Big blind raises. all call. I call.

2. I have Q10 off. UTG raises. 4 callers. I call.

I'm not a big fan of either hand. I can make second best and lose a bundle. But look at all that money in the pot. by the way, both flops missed me completely.
