Re: Too tricky?
He meant on the flop. I mistook it the first time I saw it, which is why I said "Ugh." I thought the guy three bet preflop and turned a straight.

Re: Too tricky?
[ QUOTE ]
A flop call is super easy with 34s. You're double-gutted. Whether he chooses to raise or not and try to get a free card (which he would've gotten, I might add), is up to the player. I'd prefer to overcall. Rob [/ QUOTE ] Ah. Missed the 7. Yes, very easy flop call for CO. |

Re: Too tricky?
I'm sorry, he didn't raise pre-flop, he raised flop... with a gutshot.
I had the impression it was a pre-flop raise the whole time. Bleh. KO |

Re: Too tricky?
Well I'll be... I wasn't giving him enough outs. I missed the 6 gutshot, too.
Concerning the free card... yes, I was being tricky and trying to do a check-raise. I guess his play worked, but it wasn't out of my fear for his raise. I just thought this might be a good time for it considering his aggression. Thanks! KO |
