I dont have the calculater thing you guys use to calculate if the potodds are right. Could you maybe link to it?
And what about the risk/reward ratio about doubling one up, or knocking one out..
I hope all this makes a little sense!

You have 40% equity against a random hand, I assume villain is pushing any two in an unopened pot here. Getting 2.3/1 I think this is a call.

Many of us are using a program and if you look at eastbay's profile you will find a link. You can search and do the ICM calculations by hand too. You can get info on that at dethgrind's web site. Easy to find on google.

You start to make these calls with crap when you are getting around 2 to 1. You are getting 660 to 285 here, so it is a little better than 2 to 1. Still, it is very close and even if he is pushing a wide range it is just about neutral $EV.

I think tending to call is correct here, but if he had passed up a couple of open pushes in late position with that tiny stack, I could fold.

Why do you need a calculator? Add the money in the pot $435+$75+$150 = $660. You need to call $285. 660/225= 2.3. Pot odds are 2.3 to 1. Usually I will call getting anything over 2 to 1 if it doesn't cripple me in the process.

I call. Your stack is healthy and you get a good price here.

Because ICM is not the same as pot odds.

I reckon you need to be about 38% to win here, and could go either way, probably erring towards a call, but not loving it.

I was close. 37%. Assuming, that is, you want some kind of edge (I plumped for 0.4%).

So I guess it's really about wether villain pushes ANY two or just a pretty wide range. Any two makes it a call.

Almost, yes. Something in the region of 80%+. But it's maybe not terrible to gamble here on him having Ax, just hope he doesn't turn over TT+.

I mean, even 44-88 isn't so bad. You're a few % off, but not awfully.
