I know preflop is gay and all but.........
Obviously my first hand, if MP(poster) folds I do too, but if MP(poster) calls???? At what point are the preflop
odds correct for any two? If I'm adding this up right, is this 6.5:1? Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is CO with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP2 posts a blind of $2. Hero posts a blind of $2. <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+2 raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP2 (poster) calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero ???

Granted I would have a harder time protecting a marginal hand in a larger pot, but I'm not going past the flop without at least 2 pair. I don't know if this is right or not, I guess that's why I'm asking.

Well, in this hand, it's so bad the only way you'd really consider playing it is when everyone is putting money in the pot...and even then, calling two cold w/ complete garbage is still lame.
You've also got to consider how well you play post-flop against this guy meaning you could be making further errors losing even more bets. Unless UTG+2 is crazy retarded, open-raising by him means you have to have at least something decent. The poster really just give you a nice overlay assuming he's a loose player.
