Default Weird dreams after drinking

Does everyone find their dreams totally messed up after drinking?

Here are last night's dreams. I swear these are 100% true :

- Dreamt I had written a book about my work experience which was due to be published. I could not remember writing the book, nor the work. I had totally lost memory of two months of my life. After attempting to stall I gave up and began crying on my publisher's shoulder. I kinda wanted to tap her.

- Banged a stripper in the backseat of a taxi. Her head periodically changes to that of a skeleton, with chattering teeth. Kinda spoils the moment.

- Suddenly I have become Eric off Entourage. Vince Chase is on the sofa with two naked girls. El Diablo is pacing the room. He is mild-mannered but greyer than I expected and looks at least 45. He gives his hair a quick comb. He is slightly nervous, because he is due on TV in a moment, as candidate #9 in a David Sklansky look-alike contest.

Help me.

I remember learning in first year psychology that drinking deprives you of your much needed REM sleep. That apparently causes very vivid dreams, and causes you to wake up and still be tired even if you've slept a long time.

lol classic. I wish i dreamt about banging strippers in the back of taxis more. Definitely true what the poster above says about drinking and vivid dreams. Same with the anti-malayrial drug larium. You get very crazy dreams on that too (and remember them more).

Try sleeping with a nicotine patch on. Really vivid and scary dreams.

No drugs. I was 'pretty drunk', although I never find myself in ridiculous states.

I don't know about weird dreams, but I always seem to get much less sleep, and much crappier sleep then normal when I drink.
