I play it the same, but what do you do if (when?) you get raised on the turn? I have to imagine a lot of the hands SB could play that way preflop and on the flop just got major help from this turn, and a check-raise seems likely. Do you just call down from there? Are you good often enough to call down?

I thought long and hard to find a different way to play this, but I couldn't.

I think you'll see him with something like A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or AxT[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or even K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]X enough here to bet the turn.

My best guess is that you are going to get shown K9 or A9 a large majority of the time here. When passive turns aggressive, it's generally bad. I don't see SB raising you because he/she thinks you missed the flop - it's obvious that you probably didn't. My guess is that the SB has A9 or K9 and is genuinely afraid of you having AK.

Then again, this is party. I really doubt that SB has any sort of flush draw. It doesn't make much sense to pump it when his raising is probably going to force UTG to fold.

You are either way ahead on this turn or drawing to 5, two, or zero outs. Your queens are very tainted. I hope it worked out for you.

EDIT: On second thought, it's not altogether unlikely that the SB has AK, either. I've been seeing quite a few players lately just calling with AK from the small blind. A player weak enough to just call with AK in a raised pot is also weak enough to see monsters under the bed (in the form of KK or AA) when you three bet the flop. Boy this hand is ugly. Checkraised on the flop. Ugh.
