Default Seeking Backers

Due to a variety of circumstances (read expenses) my poker bankroll is no longer at a comfortable level for the games I regularily play online. Therefore I am seeking backers for lower mid-stakes online NL play. I believe that a temporary backing arrangement will be beneficial to anyone who buys a full or partial share.

Basically I'm looking for a 6-8 week deal which would involve weekly payments followed by the full return of principal to the backer/s. I will be playing 1-2 - 2-4 NL and have consistently won at these limits for over a year.

In the past I have played as high as 15/30 NL and have had success, I've been playing poker online for approximately 3 years and had played in home games for a couple of years prior to that.

I expect that I can return a 100% profit to backers over an 8 week period. Obviously I can also incorporate risk control measures and give my backers the opportunity to opt out at any time.

If anyone is interested in discussing details please drop me a PM.

Just curious. Why go this route rather than play a bunch of hours at a lower limit? I understand players wanting backers to take shots at playing higher for risk/variance issues and I also understand wanting backers for B&M players. However, I don't understand winning players wanting stakes online since with a very small roll, it's very easy for a winning online player to rapidly rebuild.

Devil,

Basically the reason is twofold. I was up to very recently very comfortably staked for the limits I play but due to a recent move and other expenses I had to withdraw basically my entire bankroll. Additionally, my expenses aren't going to go away while I rebuild my bankroll. That's about it, hence the short term deal.

What size of shares would you be considering?

My overall need is about 3K, I would consider selling 1/6 shares if necessary.

I PM'ed you.

BTW, depending on the exact "risk control measures" you have in mind, I could probably go for more than the amount I specified in my message.
