Default Couple of Live Tourney Hands, Little Help?

Local Greyhound Track Card Room, $45 buy-in for T700, 150 people. Blinds start at 10/15 and increase every 20 minutes. Top 18 are paid.

Hand occurs with Blinds at 200/400 and I have T1700 in the Cutoff. Table folds to new player whom I know VERY well, and he pushes for his last T1100. He's a very solid, strong player but I know, he knows the blinds are about to eat him alive, so his pushing range is rather large. The Button isn't calling but the BB has enough chips to do so and not get hurt, can't get a read on him for this hand. Far from the money.

I look down at 33....poooosh or fold?

Next hand occurs on the Bubble, 19 players left and I have T4000, blinds at 500/1000, UTG+2, 1st hand back from break. 10 players at our table, 9 at theirs. 18-11 all paid $70, 1st is $1500. There are 2 stacks shorter than I at my table and 3 at the other. No, the $70 doesn't matter to me....

2 fold to me and I peek at AJs....poooosh or fold?

Thanks!

Default Re: Couple of Live Tourney Hands, Little Help?

Guess I posted a pair of uninteresting hands once again, but by default, I believe they've been answered anyways, thanks
