table is mad fishy/passive. otherwise i muck this here.
rate my play

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero calls, MP calls, CO calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB folds, Hero calls, MP calls, CO folds.

Turn: (4 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

I still hate open limping here unless you're 95% sure you'll get at least 2 limpers behind you...and that I can never be 95% sure of so fold.

The way you played it raise the flop

wow, two mistakes. why not slowplay? the pot wasn't big. i'm more apt to slowplay when it's a smaller pot.

Any diamond behind you will probably call 2SB cold or 3 bet you if it's a high diamond. Guys behind you will most likely call 2SB cold or 3 bet you with top/middle pair as well. Plus the SB might 3 bet you pumping the pot more. There's a ton of value in raising this flop. Moreso than you get from slowplaying IMO.

nah, as i said it was a loose passive table. but you're right, someone might have called two small bets cold. raising the turn ensured that i lose him.
