$11: A4o on the button with a short stack in the SB
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) converter
Hero (t2295) SB (t440) BB (t2365) UTG (t1650) MP1 (t615) MP2 (t2385) CO (t3750) Preflop: Hero is Button with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 4 folds, Hero raises to t300 Is this play standard here? I figured I am ahead of the SB most of the time if he pushes. I did not have a read yet on if the BB was protecting his blinds or not. Is this a typical steal situation involving pushing around a short stack? |

I think it's fine.
