Any word on poker room at Caesars Palace?

I will be going to Vegas in August with some friends, and they are staying at Caesars Palace (my buddy gets good rates at Caesars because he plays BJ and slots, so he doesn't want to change). Any word on when the poker room there is set to open (or if they are in fact opening a poker room)? I have booked a room at the MGM as a fallback, but it would be nice if we could all stay at the same hotel. Any info appreciated.

The poker room at Caesars has been postponed indefinately, from what I was told. A lot might have to do with the Harrahs takeover...

Caesars is in the middle of the Poker Universe (for Vegas, anyway). Bellagio and Mirage on either side. Taking a 10 minute walk to play while still staying with your friends isn't much, IMO.
