Default Would anyone recommend PokerInspector for Stud?

Anyone recommend this program for a newb? Ive always been anti-PT (use while playing anyways) but feel Im so lost in stud8 that this might be worth checking out. Anyone ever try it?

I've run it a few times... but can't think of any reason to use it. All it does is takes up valuable screen real estate. 3 StudInsp windows takes up more space than 4 party skin windows! You should have a a good idea of how live your cards are in your head so this program doesn't add much. Spending time looking up the numbers will delay your resonse time, so it's going to be a big tell too. Personally, I think using this program is probably -EV.

And if you're computer aids, that's another reason not to use it. Lets not forget the overhanging computer-aid ban-fest that might happen at party & stars

How do these programs know what cards are dealt out if one deosn't enter them? Is it really able to read the screen and determine from that what the card is? Pretty fancy if it can do that.

I don't believe any aids of this kind should be allowed at all. But if the site does have such rules, it's probably rarely enforced. It's probably not going to help someone that much, and could possibly have a reverse effect, but you never know.

I don't seem to recall the casino's letter players play with blackjack computers at the table. If you know of such a place, please let me know.

^^ I forgot the word "against" in my post. Feel free to insert it liberally into my last post.

the program can read the cards right off the party interface. Whether PI is prohibited from stars/party is debateable, but it's probably borderline at best.

I have seen people playing blackjack with a hand chart on many occasions.

As to this program, it probably just reads hand histories? If not then I imagine it is against T&C at most sites.

It probably does go against the T&C at most sites as it seems to directly read hand histories, dont know if this was enforced before. As bigred mentioned with the recent 3rd party prog crackdowns it probably wont be functional for that much longer, which was a concern of mine.

Thanks for the thoughts guys.
