Default Top Pair w/ Straight Draw - Heavy Action

Ok, how would you have played my hand on the flop & turn?

What range of hands can you guess for opponents? Not much PTO info to go by. Relative unknowns.

Easy fold on the flop, very easy.

You didn't know what you were looking for with you hand, did you?

Good luck.

I'm still new to the game and perhaps I'm playing totally wrong but I fold on the flop bet. You have a low board and your low is weak. You have top pair w/staright draw. I see you facing nut low, top pair, and flush draw, you're now playing for half the pot against one or two free runs at you, I fold. On the turn you pick up top two and everyone checks in front of you. I wouldn't have made it this far so tougher decision for me now. Probably wrong but I check. I'm ussualy very aggressive but with a made low already up dont think any one will leave they either call or check raise you. They have a free run but with more than 1 player in the pot I'm prbably wrong. I would not like this position, a set beats you right now, a flush can still come and you have no real low and are playing for half the pot. Again I'm new so........

You may be new to the game but I don't think that you are wrong. I'm a O/8 noob too, but my understanding is that we best be drawing at the nuts in some way, form, or fashion (i.e. nut low draw with 2nd nut high draw, lock low with strong high draw, etc).

Fold on the flop.

"Never draw to a hand that may be beaten."

I have to remind myself not to draw to straights either when the flop is paired and two-suited. LOL.

Here you're getting heavy betting which makes it easier.

I agree, easy fold on the flop. Check on the turn, pray that another A comes so that ur hand is good (fold on the turn as well). Folding this hand on the flop even with this much action is easy. You have 3 outs. THe 3 low straight cards that dont complete the flush. Also, those outs are probably gone anyways. So at beast u have 2 outs. That gives u an 8% chance at best of getting 1/2 the pot. No odds at all. Another Ace hits and ur probably still not good for half the pot (just in case u think that this is a good card for u). Ur on the runner-runner draw really, maybe another 1%.
