Default ESPN 2004 WSOP Coverage

Is it just me or does it leave something to be desired:

- what are the blinds and antes?
- who is first to act, in the BB, SB and on the button?
- what is the chip count?
- the biggest evil of all televised poker, why can't they tell us how many hands elapsed between hands. They actively try to make it look like one continuous game, when everyone who knows the game, knows that's not the case

For a true poker enthusiast trying to see what the strategy is, it's virtually impossible to get anything out of it live. If you have TIVO or something like that you can pause and rewind half a dozen times and get some idea, but it still isn't easy.

Can you imagine televised football where they didn't tell you what down it was or what yard line the teams were playing on? That's the level we're talking about, fellows. Write you congressman now!
