Am I a big pussy here? With a 2 flush, 2 to a straight, and 2 cards in the playing zone, should I bet this flop anyway?

The flop does suck but noone is telling you that you're not good. I'd definitely bet the flop, and depending on how many folds/who the folds are I'd possibly bet the turn without resistence, granted by that river card you're hardly ahead of anything anymore... but it isn't the point. there aren't too many hands that include a Q or a 9, and they will usually let you know quick enough that you'll easily be able to fold once you're played back at.
