Viewing Party Tables Problem

When I open up a table of party on my computer it looks like this:



As you can see there's a whole load of black nothingness of the the right and below which is causing some irritating overlap. Any one know what's causing this and what I can do?
I've got a 17" CRT, and a 128 video card if that's of any significance.

Control Panel -> Display -> Settings Tab -> Advanced Button -> DPI Setting should be 96 DPI.
