Default help me eat well in vegas please guys

ill be there startibng wednesday evening, i want to eat the buffets at mirage and especially at bellagio and i dont want to pay for it. i want a comp. is that reasonable to hope for if im playing 15-30 and up? and how exactly do i go about getting a comp ticket there? i remember being very irritated about a year ago, playing 8-16 all night at bellagio and not getting a comp, being told they were all given away at 8am and i missed it. any help is greatly appreciated.

also, hope to see many of you there. ill be the fat ugly kid playing too many hands and losing his bankroll rather quickly. look for me at the 4-8 by thursday day.

Mike L. Be sure to find the "Babe" while you are here....I'll be at Mirage on Tues and Weds, most likely in the 20-40 ..Or the Bellagio at 30-60. As for comps, yep...it's weird here. At the Mirage ask Pam or Mark for a comp between 12noon and 1PM. As for the Bellagio, it's a little tougher, since you are not a "regular" player. Best to find the Babe and take it from there. I will be happy to help. Have a nice trip and see ya next week.

Default Bellagio & Mirage are terrible with comps

You really have to jump through hoops to get comps at the Bellagio and Mirage. It's amazing how unproffessional those two poker rooms are in this area.

If you are seriously going to play 4-8, I'd reccomend you play at the Monte Carlo four hours a day. With four hours of play, you get a $6 comp which is good either at their buffet or a nice restaurant.

You can always have dinner at my place night although I wouldn't expect much more than hamburgers or microwaved lasagna.

I have 2 comps @ Mirage buffet coming from the stupid Wagerworks site if I can figure out how to redeem them. I have to use them either Thurs or Fri, and I get there Thursday. I have a committed dinner Thurs. night (I am lobbying for 9 @ The Palms if anyone has experience there who wants to either dissuade me or confirm my lobbying) so I might have an extra. I can't promise to hook you up, but maybe you can hit HDPM up for one. See ya @ the seminar.

I also suggest walking across the street to the Venetian and dropping a couple bets on the bone in rib eye at Delmonico. Someone suggested the pan seared ahi or sea bass at Kokomo (I think) @ the Mirage. California Pizza @ Mirage is pretty good too. I've never managed to go hungry in Las Vegas. Or anywhere else for that matter unfortunately. I'm sure you will muddle through the eating there with no problems.

Default Delmonico\'s at the Venetian

Definitely the best steakhouse in town IMO. I know that Pokerbabe likes the Palm in Caesars, but I am sticking to my guns.

If you go, try and sit in Bradley's section. He is the best.

I think he wants to eat without paying much for it. Kind of like how I make my hamburgers at home rather than paying that outrageous $1.00 at BK.

mike, if you are willing to pay, Circus Circus has a long-standing reputation for having a great Steak House.

Ah, but you don't eat cheese on your burgers. So its only $0.78 for two hamburgers.

Bun included.

I am not a big steak eater but FOR SURE the chateubriand for two at Delmonicos might be the single best dinner i have ever had. just be prepared to break out the big bucks.

Default Only Losers Need a Comp

If getting a comp is important to you then you simply can't afford to play poker. Try the nickel slots. Asking for a comp is the most demeaning thing you can do. If you can't afford to pay for your own meals then you shouldn't be gambling. Only Losers Need a Comp.
