Default Any Good Directions to Foxwoods from NYC/Fairfield County?

I live in Fairfield County CT (Near Danbury). I really dont feel like following the directions on the Foxwood's site (take 95 to exit 92 then follow RT 2 west). Anyone got any good shortcuts?

This is probably the shortest way from Danbury.

It's only about 10 minutes on 2 after you get off 95, and theres no highway that runs really close to FW.

The only non-95 route is 84 east to 691 east to 91 north. Get off 91 north at the second route 3 north exit and get on 2 east. The highway part of 2 ends in Norwich and you have to take about 15 minutes worth of backroads (just stay on route 2) to get to FW.

Follow the directions to Mohegan. Go past the exit for Mohegan Sun Blvd, turn left at the light and follow the signs to Foxwoods. Should cut 15 minutes off your trip.

From Danbury you need to take the 84 east route listed above. I hope you weren't thinking of taking 7 or 8 south to 95 then going east. Way out of the way and lots more traffic.

Default Good Tip

I spoke with the Bud distributor in New London county and he told me this is the best route, day or night.
