ITM - 3:1 Pot odds - Do you call this?

Bleh, I hate these hands.

Well, there is three differences than my last poll like this.
1. We're ITM
2. This hand is not just bad, it's terrible
3. But, we're getting 3:1 pot odds.

2 to 1 against AdKc. I do it but I'm real loose in the BB come ITM. Stuff like this is great as sometimes people lay off your BB when they realize you're going to call with crap sometimes. This wouldn't necessarily be the situation for that though since it'll be HU if you win, but still.

I'm not sure if your stack is after posting or not.

if you lose you give him three times your stack
If you fold you have similar stack sizes

your next hand is likely to be better than this one
his next hand is likely to be worse
I'd rather put him all in next hand with a 50/50 shot at him rather than the 3:1 you get calling

Yeah your hand is worthless, but you said it yourself, you are getting 3:1, make the call. If you lose you can still steal his blind the next hand and be left with a decent stack.
If you win you will be left with a decent shot of finishing first and guaranteed a second.
Gamble for first settle for third.

I'm no 200 player or anything [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] but I do it consistently at the 55's. As you probably already know, hardly anyone there makes these type of calls. Or even say 300 for 1200 calls, etc. Not like I want to teach them or anything but it's funny watching some folds.
