Pre Flop Raise Percentage.
I have been struggling with trying to get my preflop raise percentage up. I have 12,000 hands at .50-$1 and my pre-flop raise percent is 5.60. I am winning 2.88bb/100. Is this good, ok or should I push it up. I have over 600 big bets in my br but I want to improve on this area of my game before I move up. Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Pre Flop Raise Percentage.
5.60 is low.
What is your VPIP? |

Re: Pre Flop Raise Percentage.
Yep, PFR is lower than it could be.
Post a couple of hands that you weren't sure whether they deserved a PFR or not for comments. |

Re: Pre Flop Raise Percentage.
Ha I could fill a book with examples. I think I know when I could be more agressive I just am wondering what is considered a good pfr#, and how far away am I.

Re: Pre Flop Raise Percentage.
"Good" is a tough one. My stats at 0.5/1.00 were:
15000 hands: VPIP: 18.6 PFR: 7.6 BB/100: 4.6 My PFR could probably use a nudge upwards as well. |
