***** Hand History for Game 2958076012 *****
NL Texas Hold'em $10 Buy-in + $1 Entry Fee Trny:17018981 Level:2 Blinds(15/30) - Monday, October 31, 03:17:15 EDT 2005 Table Table 66924 (Real Money) Seat 9 is the button Total number of players : 8 Seat 1: soad34 ( $88 ) Seat 2: linaka ( $880 ) Seat 4: countryrider ( $830 ) Seat 6: sik240sx ( $710 ) Seat 7: Lil_Spenny ( $885 ) Seat 8: emptyseat20 ( $800 ) Seat 9: Easy__Game ( $2272 ) Seat 10: JohnnyValore ( $1535 ) Trny:17018981 Level:2 Blinds(15/30) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to emptyseat20 [ Jh Jd ] linaka folds. countryrider raises [125]. sik240sx folds. Lil_Spenny calls [125]. >You have options at Table 67282 Table!. I had JJ and faced a raise with a re-raise before me. I was right of the button. My original thought was muck because I put the original raiser on two high cards at least and the caller on an even better hand. I was prety confident in folding this hand, but too often in the 11's I have seen raiser's and caller's of raiser's showdown KJ vs. 77 or something of the like... |

30's or higher yes.
On $10's i think this is a shove. |

Re: 11: Easy fold with JJ?
IT looks like a raise and a cold call before you. And you are right. You will see some crap hands here often enough to make pushing this my standard play. Of course you could be behind. And could also change this based on any reads you had at the time. But in general these players are so weak and raise with so many weak hands that JJ begins to look like AA.

Re: 11: Easy fold with JJ?
I like a shove here, but i would fold depending on reads, in example donikish moves. This isnt really a huge raise only 4xbb are you saying everytime someone gives a standard raise your yout willing to fold jj?

Re: 11: Easy fold with JJ?
I'll be different here and say fold. You have considerable FE, but I put my money on being called by at least one of the two opponents.
With QQ, I don't mind a shove, but I think JJ needs to be played a little more cautiously in levels 1 - 3 at PP $11. |

Re: 11: Easy fold with JJ?
i used to play JJ harder but it's one of those hands that look better than it really is. at that level i'd play it for set value and/or hope for harmless flop then go push-crazy.

Re: 11: Easy fold with JJ?
I coldcall here as well, if an A or two overs flop I'm going to be folding to any bet. If just a Q or K flop, it will depend on my opponents action. If the flop is all unders, then I'm getting all my money in on the flop.
fwiw, I'd probably fold TT and push QQ preflop. |

Re: 11: Easy fold with JJ?
Huh - surprised at the support for pushing. I fold or call. You are in decent chip position, and JJ is a risky hand to commit to preflop, particularly against two opponents with good hands.
PokerStove puts you at 46.5% against two opponents with broadway or any pair. I don't see that you need to coinflip quite yet. |
