The wait lists were (as expected) absolutely insane. Apparently the floor staff had to keep explaining to a great many people that, no, the list on the display just showed the top 20 names and yessir, you're really on the list, honest.

I put myself on a bunch of lists and got called for the 1/2 NLHE first, so I settled in. We had some straddling action going on for a while. I and a guy across the table from me were straddling about half the time when it came around to us.

I've never straddled while sober. This was kind of a new experience.

A lot more action than usual at most of the games I was in or watching. I suspect this is because people had been waiting for 2 and 3 and 4 hours for a table and were on wait-tilt or something.
