Default stupid noob question of the day -- wsop satellites at the rio

question about the satellites running at the rio:

how are the satellites paying out? in cash? in lammers of some denonimation or specifically for the event in question?

The $175 satellites pay out 3 $500 lammers and $120 cash (winner take all). However, many are split 2 or 3 ways.
