Default Plea for help (2001fp related)

I am unable to get my mouse (Logitech MX510) to work through the USB ports built in to the 2001fp. I have tried reloading drivers, windows, tested all usb ports on the 2001fp with a usb drive (all worked). Does anyone here have it working? If you could test it out on your rig for me that would be great.

Do you have a USB cable connecting your monitor and computer?

How about plugging one of those other devices into your monitor and plug your mouse straight into your PC.

I wouldn't recommend it anyways, if for no other reason than when the monitor goes into 'sleep' mode, the USB ports power off.

It's the layout of my desk that is the problem. The mouse cord is too short. The monitor is at a perfect distance for the mouse.

If your monitor goes to sleep, being able to use your mouse probably isn't going to help you much anyhow ...

I suggest getting a USB extension cable. You can purchase one from Newegg (a reputable online vendor) here:
