Default JJ on the Bubble. Horribly Misplayed?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter

BB (t1970)
UTG (t3040)
Button (t5585)
Hero (t2905)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to t600, BB raises to t1970, Hero calls t1370. Is this a horrible Call? Should I just Push PF? or was it fine and Fold to the Push?

I think you played it fine and I play it the same way. You would have to put the BB on such a tight range to fold here after your raise that it could almost never be correct to fold. Your raise could be interpreted as a steal attempt, after all, and at least some percent of the time this is a resteal from the BB.

Results oriented thinking should be shot in the face and left to die, bleeding its guts and pieces of brain all over the concrete of decision-oriented thinking.

In other words, your call of his repush was fine.

That's what I was trying to say, but my post had frosting and those little candy sprinkles.

Yeah I tend to be way too results oriented. I was just thinking he pushed AJ and turned his ace but most of the time I win this or have him even more badly beaten.

So you're asking if calling getting almost 2:1 as a 7:3 favorite was a bad play??? Get serious.

FWIW, I just push pre-flop, not that it probably would have mattered.

Well hes not gonna have AJ everytime. I didnt put the results in there first for a reason. if hes only pushing big Aces and pairs, Majority of the time Im gonna be in a coin flip or dominated.

That is so wrong it's not even funny. You raised to t600. Alot of players would come back over the top with far less than big pairs and two overcards. Let me put it this way: even thinking about folding to a push is criminal.

That being said, again, I would've just pushed pre-flop.
