Re: KK i\'m sure I missed bets on
[ QUOTE ]
River I play the same figuring I may be splitting at this point. [/ QUOTE ] There is absolutely no reason to think this. There are only 2 other kings in the deck, and tons of other possible hands. You are behind AK, tied with KK, tied with KQ and ahead of pretty much everything else. If you end up splitting, you'll get your money back but more than likely you're pulling a bigger pot (padded by UTG). |

Re: KK i\'m sure I missed bets on
[ QUOTE ]
I would raise the flop, and cap if he three-bets... And after that slow down if he keeps betting into you. [/ QUOTE ] Why cap? If premium-holding villain 3-bets from SB, 3-bets the QJT flop after you capped preflop, you've got to start worrying about AK, AA, QQ and maybe JJ. Against AK (8 ways), you've got 2 outs to SPLIT Against AA (6 ways), you've got 6 outs to win Against QQ/JJ (3 ways each), you've got 10 outs to win. So you've got an average of (8+36+30)/(8+6+3) = 4.4 outs. That's not much room to play with. If 3-bet, I'm just calling down. He might 3-bet KQ here (but would he 3-bet it preflop?) and he might 3-bet AQ. But I can't think of too many other premium hands that are jamming here. |
