I probably won't call an over-the-top raise with anything other than KK or AA
minraise and then coming over-the-top is a huge sign of strength to me |

Unfortunately this is a situation where you are just going to go broke. I don't re-raise pre-flop here because JJ is probably a small favorite or big dog to most of the hands your opponent is raising with. You want to give yourself a chance to get away from the hand if an A, K, or Q hits and your opponent comes out firing.
With that flop I'm going to get my money in the pot. If my opponent has hearts he is going to pay to draw out. The only plausible hands that really scare you here are AA, KK, QQ, and 99. Your opponent is likely to bet hands that are currently behind you though. |
