The question "what do you have to hide" is an authoritarian demand. It's incompatible with personal freedom. It labels those who exercise personal autonomy as anti-social.

Just out of curiosity, are you opposed to being searched before boarding an airplane? I don't know where to draw the line. Perhaps it is best decided in the courts.

Let's review.......we have been given proof of a terrorist method of operation, in at least 3 recent documented parts of the world: Israel, Iraq, and London, whereby backpacks are all the rage for suicuide bombers. Backpacks in densley populated areas are weapons for slaughtering innocents. Proven? absolutely. Is this the only method of the enemies of civlized people used by the crazies? Nope. What does Bill O'Reilly say about this? He has been critical regarding the war in Iraq every time I've heard him which isn't too often. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he was actually against the way the searches are being conducted.
