Default Pool/Billards

Hi,

I just got a 7ft pool table and want to get good so I can win some money off my buddies. What are some good websites where I can learn how to play well? I practice a lot but want to practice correctly. Thanks in advance.

I think the best way to get better at pool is to play play & play. Books can teach you the absolute basics but not much more. Find a trainer/buddy who's good and emulate him for starters. It took me lots of hours and plenty of cash to become a player but why not play nickle games to begin with. Good luck.

I mean its not like we are playing for blood I just dont like losing. A basic website that shows how to put english on the ball and some common shots would be great. I dont want to spend any cash on a book. I havent won any money yet.
