No real reads on villian at the time. Looking at PT, they are 34% VP$IP, 2% PFR after 44 hands.

I'd call that pretty quickly... is that a leak? Note that the river brought a straight for 78 and KQ as well as decent two pair hands for JT, J9 and maybe T9.

I call, then realize that I did it even though I was sure I was beat.

At this level, I call that and expect to be shown one of the 2 better hands 20 or 30% of the time.

Looks like your slowplay/underbetting worked and induced a bet like you wanted to. Now go ahead and call!

His line is obviously weird, but I'm sure you'll be shown set, straight, J10 or lower flush way more than 50% of the time here. And you only need to be good 40% of the time to call of course.

Fold that trash preflop.

I call, but then I cant really laydown a flush at this level. A str8 just got there on the river, and he could have a worse flush, or he could have just made 2-pair.

Shrug - call.

Fold preflop, or if you really want to play the hand, open raise.

I would probably bet that flop.

As played, turn bet looks good.

River is a little tough but I think a call is in order.

Here's a question you need to answer: Why did you bother to play this hand if you would consider (for a even a nano-second) folding when it hits? That is why most of us fold this garbage pre-flop.

if you are calling with this hand preflop, you have to get the money in on an unpaired board when you hit your hand...that simple.

Honestly I think you are ahead of JT. Then again, button is so passive I guess he probably would open limp a suited ace on the button instead of open raising with it. Either way it's a call.

I call quickly and expect to see soemthing like JT or another two pair or possible even a straight that came in on the river. Sometimes you may see the nut flush but I think at this level you have to call.

I also agree that if you plan to play this hand preflop, you are getting it all in on a non paired board.
