You didn't hear that MN is the poker haven of young expert short handed LHE players?

Default Single table satellite info.

[ QUOTE ]
I called Canterbury and their recorded message said satelites for the fall classic start on Oct. 5th. Does this mean for all tourneys or just the main event? I'm looking to satelite into the sunday $300+30 NLHE event, to the guys that were out there tonight, did they have satelites for this running or will they tomorrow??

TIA

[/ QUOTE ]

Single table sats will be running much of the time. They are $45, $65 and $120. The winner of the $45 gets three $100 lammers and $50. The $65 pays five $100 lammers and $50. On each of these, the house keeps $80 and gives $20 to the dealer. Not sure what the $120 pays out. Lammers can be used to buy into any tourney, or sold.

You get T300. Rounds are 15 minutes and blinds go up as follows (to the best of my recollection):

10/15
10/25
25/50
50/100
100/200
200/400

The $120 gets you a seat in the $1000 NLHE main event. I'm not sure if that includes the entry fee, but I'm guessing it does.

Late tonight I will be just probably playing 4/8. Come say "hi" to the bald guy with the winona state sweatshirt, for that will be me.

Off from work for the Fall Classic.

Will be there tonight for sats and/or 6/12.

Tomorrow, Monday and Friday for tourneys.

Just about every afternoon this week (until 5 or so).

Just about every evening from 9p-2a for the next week.

Sadly, I'm a forty year-old, mildly overweight white guy with a Canterbury hat on. In other words, 25% of the room.

just one? come oooooon buddy

Noon start time sucks, I might be too hungover to make it there on time. Right now looking like less than 10% chance I'll be there Saturday... So probably sunday. Shame cuz I'm pretty sure I'd win the LHE tourney AND knock you, Pickett and Fox out of it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ha since my picture is on the wall for that tournament (even though I won more $ for the one it says i got 2nd) I would make myself a 72% favorite to make the final table.

For the record this man makes good predictions.

So I was thinkign about going there on Monday afternoon, not for the tourney tho. Will all the tables be taken up for the tourny? I just dont want to drive down there and end up waiting a lifetime to play.
