Re: AQ 5/10 6max hand
I was the guy with the A9 just so we're clear. He had the AQ.

Yes, I knew that. Just for clarity I referred to both players as 'you'.

Re: AQ 5/10 6max hand
[ QUOTE ]
well he made the read. Who knows what he would have done had i bet the pot though. there is a lot of uncertainty though thats my point. [/ QUOTE ] I think he has to read you for a club or straight draw or a bluff. His turn bet and your call seem to define the hand and make his river call mandatory. The $340 bet gives him slightly better than 2:1 on his call and I wouldn't guess that TPTK is getting killed that badly here. My line of thinking would be that it's nearly even money that you're on either a club draw versus a straight draw, I doubt that you have a worse Q and it's unlikely that you raised pre-flop with something that got hit by that flop (like Q 10). Throw in the chance that you're bluffing on the river and I have to call. |

Re: AQ 5/10 6max hand
i think that you made a mistake against that particular player. he/she is is not folding any queen in that spot.
a turn raise with push on any river card may have worked, but are you willing to take that chance for your stack? |
