Default AHL Line?

Does anyone know of where to find an online American Hockey League Line?

You're kidding, right?

Do you have some deep thoughts and insight on the Hershey Bears vs. St. John's Maple Leafs (or maybe the Portland Pirates vs. Syracuse Crunch....or perhaps the Rochester Americans vs. Binghamton Ice-somethings)?

Nah. Some puck junkies I play poker with are starving for action. I was gonna give 'em a fix,

Go Bears! (Whatever happened to the Long Island Ducks?)

There's always the European Leagues (where some of the NHL'ers are playing).

Not sure if the Long Island Ducks became the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.

I'm a life-long fan of D-1 college hockey (although there isn't any betting on it like football or hoops).

Otherwise, your puck-happys friends are probably out of luck.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if there is AHL betting somewhere in Canada.

Until then:
Go Manitoba Moose!!
Go Norfolk Admirals!!
Go Milwaukee Admirals!! (yup, same nickname)
Go Worcester Ice Cats!!
Go Hamilton Bulldogs!!
Go Grand Rapids Griffins!!

I spent three years as an engineer for AHL hockey games. Knew every player on every team and every scout in the league.

And I still wouldn't bet on them.

I hadn't considered D1 hockey. It has rabid fans, in fact I have a lot of friends from the Upper Midwest who consider the NHL a retirement plan for college players. There has to be a D1 line somewhere.

Probably an astute observation. But, after a little research, I like jpg777's plan to always fade Albany.

I REALLY doubt there are lines on D-1 college hockey.

Miami (Ohio) (where I grew-up and also my alma-mater) is in the CCHA with Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Lake Superior State, Northern michigan and others and is considered a premiere college hockey conference. although the WCHA with Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, national champ Denver U., might be a shade stronger these days.

i have decent knowledge of the Hockey East (BC, BU, NH, Maine, Providence, etc) and the ECAC (Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Cornell, Colgate, Clarkson, St. Lawrence, RPI, etc) and there's some good hockey out there too of course.

If you REALLY wanted to look into this you could go to USCHO.com (U.S. College Hockey Online) and sniff around.
I used to participate in the forums there all the time and I NEVER remember seeing anyone talk about actually betting on these games.

The most we did on USCHO was a weekly pick-the-winners competition which is bragging-rights only and is pretty much exactly the same as the 3+1 handicap the NFL picks thing we do in this forum.

I don't know...maybe if you knew a bookie in East Lansing or Ann Arbor (or Madison or Minneapolis or Bismarck) you could get some action down on these games (with some really good lines for the non-premier programs).

I'll defer to your judgement on this. My interest was mainly one of curiosity. I've seen some lines generated (locally) for some pretty obscure contests. I was following a line of reasoning that: College hockey = rabid fans; rabid fans = wagering; wagering = lines.

East Lansing or Ann Arbor (or Madison or Minneapolis or Bismarck)

Hmmmmm. You've just listed where all these guys are from.
