Default 200K guaranteed strategy adjustments

I have qualified for my first Party 200K tourney, and I am wondering what adjustments I need to make. I usually play 5/1-30/3 normal and rebuy tourneys and have made a few final tables as well. Any tips and advice would be greatly helpful

Thanks,

P.S. I have searched through the forum, but couldn't find any strategy advice.

Just play your game. I suppose people play a little tighter and won't completely donk it up like some do in lower buy-ins but the play is still poor and and if you play a solid game you will do fine.

Oh, and win your coinflips and flop sets.

I've been in the same position, and would say billyjex is on the money. Also, right at the outset, you are going to be nervous, so tighten up some. There is no sense putting yourself in marginal positions when you are not yet comfortable. My first couple times, I just felt like a complete spaz, and played that way. (Call a three bet with Tens on a Q-high flop? Sure!)

Also, remember that while the donk factor won't be as high as you're used to, it will be up there for the first hour or so. While you are watching the table, figure out who the lucky donks are so you can get their chips later.

And if you are heads up with ZeeJustin at the end, and he offers you a deal, take it.

... unless you've got a 10:1 chip lead and he offers you a 50% chop. Don't be a pussy. Raise.

lol, you're kidding right? If blinds are big enough a 10:1 chip lead is enough to negate any skill difference. Just push every hand!
