Re: What is a Sklansky dollar?
Classics.
Earning Sklansky Bucks is just a way of saying you made a theoretically profitable play regardless of whether it actually resulted in a profit this particular time. Example, calling with proper odds for your flush draw. This move shows a profit in the long run though it may not make you money this time. You still earned some Sklansky Bucks though. Shania is from a very classic post. It does have much to do with table image. Check it out here . |

For some reason, every time shania came up, no one ever linked the original post... That said, the above poster's explanation of the sklansky dollar is correct. |

And then when I actually opened it up last night to read it I got a few sentences in and said to myself "I really don't feel like reading this now....". And the wonder continues. |

At the risk of seeming like a smartass or flamer (neither is my intent)...
Have you tried the Search feature? It's easy, quick and has helped me many times. You can look for any key word or a poster's name. |
