Default Another early push....

I'm getting outta control here. How's this look? Another $5+.5 on Stars.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) converter

Hero (t1500)
MP1 (t1100)
MP2 (t1350)
MP3 (t1380)
CO (t2120)
Button (t1160)
SB (t1890)
BB (t1640)
UTG (t1360)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to t80, MP1 calls t80, MP2 calls t80, 2 folds, Button raises to t200, 2 folds, Hero calls t120, MP1 folds, MP2 calls t120.

Flop: (t710) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)

No need for that, better to check/raise all in.

looks fine, except at this level you have to expect any 10 to call, and maybe a few nines.

Oh yeah and the call to the reraise is pretty terrible. Actually, so is the raise from UTG+1 9 handed.

Well, yes, it's pretty bad. It's not a ring game.

I actually prefer the flop push to a c/r all in with this pot. The pot is huge and I want to get every bit of FE I can out of the flop. I don't want AK to somehow think they're pot committed after a bet, and AK or AQ is about the only hand of the button's range we can expect to fold (depending upon just how bad he is).

I agree with Tigerite's preflop comments. This situation is a good example of the adjustments you need to make coming from ring games.

Look at it this way. You have managed to get 1500 chips in the middle when BB is 20 without being able to beat bottom pair. This is bloat-o-mania.
