Playing 6-max again for the first time in a long time...
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 1 fold, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG calls, CO calls. Flop: (13 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) SB bets, UTG folds, CO calls, Hero raises, SB calls, CO calls. Turn: (9.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets, CO calls, Hero raises, SB calls, CO calls. River: (15.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, CO checks, Hero checks. Final Pot: 15.50 BB I think I played this ok. SB is a super-loose, somewhat-passive calling station. I was suprised to find him betting here, but I didn't think it meant monster or anything. The CO is somewhat tight, not very aggressive. |

Re: Playing 6-max again for the first time in a long time...
Welcome back.
I like it on all streets. With a 15BB pot, I'm going to feel somewhat obligated to call a c/r on the river if the other donk folds. Likewise, CO played this exactly like a draw, and most of them just hit this river. The T also completes a lot of 2pair hands, so I think your value on this river is pretty marginal. Well played. |
