They are free but most people tip the waitress a dollar.

If you intend on winning money (or at the very least, minimizing your losses), you probably want to put more focus on your play and less on the free drinks. I know whenever I'm catching a buzz, my judgement is a little cloudy at best.

I'm not sure about WSOP satellites, but if you just want to play in some affordable tourneys, Mandalay and Luxor both have a couple a day during the week last I checked (both around $25 or so for the buy-in). The Mirage has weekend tourneys, but they're more expensive (I think around $200-$500 to buy in?). In old Vegas, Binions used to have tourneys for around $60 during the week, with a little more expensive versions on the weekends. I could be way off on all this, but I think I've got the ballpark down...it's been I while since I've gotten out to LV. Check the casinos websites (or better yet, call their cardrooms) for more accurate info.

Good luck and happy b-day.

Play some poker with your $900. Maybe start out at 3/6 then move up to 6/12 if you feel comfortable.

Then head off to one of the strip clubs and spend your winnings on your first legal lap dances. Just go with someone that knows the ropes.

Dude,

Screw the WSOP. Got any friends that are over 21 already? Make sure they come with you.

You should plan to be inebriated prior to landing in Sin City, and should do your damnedest to stay this way for as much of the trip as you possibly can. Strippers are a must, but make sure to avoid the whores. Non-whores are +EV (and PV), so get out to the nightspots, try to hit up places like the Hard Rock, and get your game on, bro.

If you MUST play poker, 12-hour sessions that don't involve drunken 2-4 are -EV. Then again, 900 bucks may not last that long barring a rush.

Do it up.

EDIT TO ADD:

Two words. Spearmint. Rhino.
