help!!! poker stars 35,000 tourney

I just qualified for the tournament through a satalite. I am a winning (not much but I do ok) sng player. I have failed miserably at the 10+1 mmt's but I don't think it has been my play? I have been in the money (barely) 2 out of 10 tries and the others, I just couldn't get cards or the usual bad beat story. Anyway, how much different is 350,000 in terms of play? both before the break and after?

That and any other advice would be great!
