Default Hiatus over, bloody multi-way hand....

5 days w/o poker is like 5 days without frickin oxygen.

Party-our RNG isn't random-Poker, 15-30

I'm UTG, and I open with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

2 MP callers, the button calls, and both blinds take a flop.

Apparently I generate as much respect in this game as I do in this forum....and thanks to my bestest friend in the whole wide world, who happens to moderate this forum, it will probably remain like that for 2+2 eternity....moderator got jokes....

BACK TO THE BLOODY HAND

flop

2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Button raises, SB calls, BB calls, I think about how both blinds just called two bets, and figure the button will always call a third bet if not cap it, and maybe both or at least one MP's will call a three bet, So,I 3-bet, and they ALL CALL.

11 BB's

Question here is, do I have enough "equity" in this hand to make this play on the flop OOP?

Secondly, is there a better line you like on the flop?

And lastly, how do you play the turn if you improve, and how do you play the turn if it bricks?

There's no better way to play the flop. Set yourself up to win a big one. You're making lots of money on the flop here.

On the turn, if you brick, I'd just check and see what happens. You're not really upset if it gets checked through but you could make a little money here too if everyone came along to the river for some bets so you're not too upset if someone decides to bet.

gotta love those big pots.

flop is standard

id check the turn UI, if your lucky they might fear a c/r and check behind, but thats not too likely, id check just because i dont want to be raised, against observant opponents, check/calling pretty much gives you hand away, but in this multiway pot i think its definately the best choice, your likely to get paid off if you hit either way and you dont want to open yourself up to a raise

you played the flop well. i would probably bet the turn unimproved, then if you hit the club on the river you'll probably get raised because there's almost certainly another flush draw out there

You have equity to jam the turn with 5 opponents. So I bet the turn.

I had to read this thread if only to read how long your "hiatus" was ... and I'm not sure 5 days qualifies, but, whatever.

As to the hand, obviously correct on the flop, as you definitely have a vibrant holding.

Welcome back from your "hiatus."

This post is kind of stupid, in that this is the standard way to play this post flop and before the flop.

The real question is :
What do you do if a 7, J, 10 or A comes? I am checking three of these combos.

Leading a club is pretty obvious.

It is unlikely all opponents will stay in on the turn.
