Default To Raise or Not to Raise? (general quest)

Party 2/4

I'm in the small blind w/AKs. Everyone folds to me. The big blind, over a large number of hands, has stats of 21% VPIP 5.6% pfr and 2.4 AF.

I raised and he folded. I hate winning 1.5 sb with that kind of hand. The only thing I hate worse is losing 5 or 6 or more bb with that kind of hand.

What to do?

If you hate losing 5,6 bb more then u had winning 1.5 then RAISE. Winning a small amount is always better then losing a bigger amount, wouldnt you say? Also. AKs is far froma sure thing. Why play it badly to TRY to get 1 more bet out of him. You are just asking for hurtin when you play like that. Plus if u raise he may think your stealing from the SB and reraise you

Just do what everyone else at PP does: slowplay in an attempt to try and squeeze out one more bet. Make sure to check the flop too. Do this with AA and KK also. You want to fit in, don't you?

Would you rather complete, miss the flop, and lose bets? Think about the meta-game implications please.

you'd rather limp and have him hit a pair, you whiff, and you lose a few more bets?
