Absolutely do not fold this. I think a call is mandatory here. You have a draw to a nut flush and to a straight that will probably win. My guess is UTG has trips and SB I am not sure but probably two pair.

I never would have made it to the turn, but if I had: I would call getting 4.25-1 with 9 outs (not counting the Ace.)

Edit: I missed the gutshot outs

You have outs to call the turn, but I wouldn't raise. You're still on a draw, and on the turn here you don't have the pot equity edge to be betting/raising with the draw. Call the turn, and fold the river UI.

I see your thought process on this hand (Overcard + Backdoor straight + BD flush) but

-the chance of a raise behind you,
-plus the chance that you are dominated (low, but realistic),
-plus your bad relative position if you DO spike a draw,
-plus the chance that your draw will be only a gutshot which will probably neccessitate a fold on the turn

all point to a flop fold IMO

EDIT also do not under any circumstance fold this hand in this situation in this game preflop.

preflop is fine. with a better A you could call the flop bet, but not here. once that club hits i just call the turn to try and get an overall. if antohe club hits he will bet into you again, then raise it.

You clearly must fold on the flop.

On the turn, it seems that SB has made two pair. So you have probably about 11 outs to draw out (9 to a flush, 3 more to a straight, minus 1 which could make SB a full house).
So you can't raise for value here (even with three callers) . In addition, you can't drive everybody out of the pot. Call.

This has probably already been said. Oh well.

I would fold the flop here, all you have are a BD flush draw and 1 overcard.

I would call this turn, you now improved to the nut flush draw and a gutshot, you have a lot of outs.

Ok, I can see how the flop call is questionable, but thought I was right because of the backdoor flush and straight draws...and very slightly because of the ace. Had the turn not helped me at all I would have definately folded

I suppose I am too aggressive at times (stats on turn are a point higher than flop...bleh) since I ended up raising the turn...looking back, I see now that was a mistake because for one I didn't want it capped back to me and also because I wanted to keep people in.

Bad semi-bluff attempt on my part, but will do better next time.

Will post hand when I get a chance, but they both called, got my flush on river and won the pot...
