Greatest All-Time War Movies

Whiskeytown's post about a Korean war flick got me thinking that maybe there are some other good ones I've missed out on. So let's hear it, what are some of you guys' favorites. Anything goes, as long as it has some connection to soldiers, wars etc.

A Bridge Too Far
Das Boot
Full Metal Jacket (especially the first half)
Last of the Mohicans

Bridge of the River Kwai

The Eagle has Landed
The Guns of Navarone
The Great Escape

A hollywood movie.. without the american army in it for once!

Ah, yes. Enemy at the Gates wasn't bad. Some silly stuff in it but for the most part a good flick.

-Braveheart
-We Were Soldiers (The book is even better)
-Band of Brothers (I know it's a miniseries but it was excellent...book was good too).

Apocalypse Now, while being a very quotable movie, IMO sucked. Especially compared to all the others on the list.

Band of Brothers is probably the best miniseries I have ever seen.
