Re: End of Year Boxing Picks Thread
Golden Boy Promotions is setting up a new "Nations Cup" style event at the end of the year. Do you find it feasible that either the thai or mexican communities will lay enough money on their country men to find a value arise for the other side?
Please give me your takes on this. MJC |

Re: End of Year Boxing Picks Thread
Its hard to know about Golden Boy stuff because the fighters are relatively unknown and I only bet after having a lot of data. Does anybody have any ideas about betting str8 up on Pedan over Barrera this weekend? The price is +450 @sportsbook.com. Pedan is a tough fighter but does not hit well. Perhaps he can pull this off?

Re: Barrera/Penden
After watching Barrera/Morrales III on HBO, I don't see Barrera losing this fight. I see a late round stoppage, my guess would be in 7-9th round. Pedan is a puncher, but Barrera is just too good to lose to someone like Pedan. Pedan will get a few shots in, but Barrera will have Pedan zoned in and teeing off on him all night.
I see Mosely going to a decision with Cruz. Mexican fighters are known for their toughness and Mosley lately has not looked very good. This one has UD for Mosely written all over it. This weeks fights will go by the odds that are listed. just wait until next week from some boxing fireworks. Tuds |

Tuds,
As always we are on the same page. I have not put any $ on Pedan and I love the Mosley over. Indy |

Shane\'s Victory
Solid, Maybe even more lopsided than the judges had it....but...not championship material in my belief....
