Playing in Foreign Lands

Hi all. Since I'll be living in Spain from February-June of next year, I was just wondering if anyone one the board has played at all over there. I wonder how daunting this may be, being a non-native speaker of Spanish. Table talk and what not could be my chagrin, but perhaps it could help me tune other players out. It sounds like a longshot, but I figured it was worth seeing if anyone had played there.

On a side note, I'm curious as to what countries other 2+2ers (can I consider myself one yet?) have played in. Anyone?

A few months ago Card Player had a 2 part series about playing in Spain. Very high rakes, and an interesting tidbit on slow rolling was included. Check it out it was from this summer.
