Re: “Name The Tables” – PartyPoker.com
Easy work. Find a copy of "The A B C Universal Commercial Electric Telegraphic Code" or any of several others on the same subject from the last century or two. The one I'm thinking about has 10,000 pronouncable 5-letter words. That will handle a lot of tables.

Mike, a suggestion for you
I know a lot of players here who have e-mailed Party to no avail about the chat spammers popping into the tables. This should be taken seriously by Party, but they've never done anything about it. An easy solution would be to eliminate all 3rd party chat (if they're not seated at the table, why do they need to have access to the table chat).
I hope you can relay this information to the management there. So far, they have basically ignored it. |

I've sweat my friends at final tables before and its fun to type stuff in the chat for them. You should just have at least $0.01 in your account. That would shut off the chat pretty quick. |

Re: Mike, a suggestion for you
IMHO, table names shouldn't use punctuation - that's just annoying.
I'm in although freerolls really dont interest me. Especially freerolls with other 2+2ers, thats just -EV. I can imagine it now, it'd be over in 30 mins. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Here's an idea: Let's get's the lobby issues worked out first before we start renaming tables. Namely: - real time updates (mine updates every 30 seconds or so). - Waiting list fix (has this ever worked correctly?) - Avg. players/flop percentage [/ QUOTE ] Yes, that's the idea and the reason I don't have time to come up with 10,000 names! [/ QUOTE ] Please do not put put % of players seeing the flop in the lobby. I can't see what benefit that has to the casual player. [/ QUOTE ] It has no benefit to the casual player. It's the folks that know how to process the information (those that read 2+2 and study the game) that will benefit. [/ QUOTE ] Exactly why it shouldn't be there. Also, there are plenty of people who know that playing tight is correct, but don't play that way. Having the flop % just reminds them of the importance of playing tight. [/ QUOTE ] AMEN TO THAT.... don't fix what isn't broken. Let players play the way they want to, and feel comfortable doing. Providing this data on the table list will just open a Pandora's box, and encourage more players to quit sooner - therefore less revenue for Party. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

I suggest "Rubbue Duck" and "Jacl and Jill". I think those names are great.

One $15-$30 table absolutely has to be named "yeah it is"

I like the table numbers better.... I´m sure I´m not the only one! [/ QUOTE ] Yes, please don't change anything. You have larger problems with the software. |
