After he 3 bets you, yes. The double gutshot came in on the turn as well as many two pair combinations are possible with this board.

It's not the donkbettor who 3-bet me... The question was here why it wouldn't be correct to raise the turn.

Sorry its late. The only reason I don't like raising is there are so many hands that people fall in love with that have two pair and straights now.

After the threebet you are almost certainly behind though.

Sure the turn card doesnt do wonders for our hand but I can only think of a few hands that you're talking about. QT and KJ are all that really improved on the turn. Maybe K8 is peelin. I think more often than not a turn raise is giving us plenty of value and charging hearts when they're out there. Getting 3-bet sucks, sure, but I don't see that happening most of the time. FWIW, I call the turn and fold the river UI.

Yeah, knowing the 3 bet is coming is making me less willing to raise. I do raise this almost every time though, and I wasn't suggesting that we not raise here, we just have to realize if we get 3 bet we're in trouble.
