[ QUOTE ]
That Tony guy must be a break even player at best.

He's limiting himself to such a small range preflop, nobody with a brain would go up against him heads up.

Button opens for $35, ok, smooth call to disguise or min raise to keep him in. Don't make it 4X more to scare all players out.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have played with Tony several times at Commerce. He claims to be a poker professional. He can lie to himself all he wants, just like 95% of the rest of the people who claim to be professionals. This guy was limping in with kings and aces in late position and would bitch when a Jack Deuce in the big blind cracked his hand. He is not even a break even player. He is a loser. I do not know one player who beats this game on a regular basis who is not aggresive preflop and postflop.

I kid Bart, but I love him. If it wasn't for his gay Asian lover, he'd be mine!

Gus' move was not bad IF you expect one, at least of the 2 players behind to bet and you CR. Sometimes it doesn't work and you miss a couple of bets. A calculated move. You also have to consider if anyone would call with the flush draw out there. I have learned to bet it, but then, I'm special.
