This is why chess puzzles piss me off:

Does white move first?
Are the black pawns moving north or south?

Maybe there are some standard rules to chess puzzles of which Im unaware, but assuming the black pawns are moving south and white moves first, white has an available checkmate: Qg4.

Edit: Ohh i get it.. "adds a pawn"
