Uploading an avatar on 2+2

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do I upload an avatar here. It says under "personal info" that I can either use one of the stock avatars or one from an internet address. My avatar is saved as a pic on my computer. How would I go about getting it on here? Thanks.

Get a free account at imageshack.us/. Upload the picture you want to use. You'll get a url pointing to the image (something like www.imageshack.us/yadda/yadda/pic.gif) Which you will put in the internet address field of the 2+2 personal info page.
